Barbara E Bergman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara (Bobby) Bergman, who left us on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Gary, and children, Alan & Traci and their respective spouses, Marci & Tim. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan, Elissa, Trevor, Taryn, and Travis and her mother-in-law, Violet, aged 102, who dearly misses her.

Bobby was a beloved spouse, parent, grandparent, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Barbara was a founding and active member of Congregation B’nai Tikvah of North Brunswick, NJ. She remained close with her friends after moving to Florida, where she once again volunteered at Temple Sinai, working bingo on Wednesday nights. Even though she could no longer square dance with her husband, she became treasurer of Rutgers Promenaders. After moving to Florida, she attended all the dances at the Castoffs club in Boynton Beach, to socialize with new-found friends.
