Barbara Nathan

Barbara Nathan was born on July 16, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Samuel Wilson and Reba Corsun Wilson. She passed away on July 5, 2025.

Barbara graduated from Cornell University in 1948, majoring in Chemistry. She married Kurt Nathan on July 17, 1948 and lived in the Somerset section of Franklin Township since December of 1951.

Barbara was employed by the Franklin Township Board of Education as a substitute teacher for 20 years. She was a member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, Life Member of the Raritan Valley Chapter of Hadassah and past President of the Franklin Group of the Raritan Valley Chapter of Hadassah. She was also a member of the Women’s League of Rutgers University.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Nathan and son Bernard David Nathan.
