Carmen Guadalupe was born on April 22, 1968, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to Ramon and Angelina Guadalupe. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, where she built a life centered around family, love, and resilience.
Affectionately known as “Ming” in her earlier years, Carmen had a vibrant spirit and a personality that filled any room. She worked in several fast-food restaurants until her health began to decline in 2011. Despite her challenges, Carmen remained strong and continued to find joy in the simple things that meant the most to her.
Carmen loved to dance and listen to music, especially when surrounded by her family. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, including The Honeymooners, I Love Lucy, Bionic Woman, and Charlie’s Angels. Above all else, Carmen cherished her daughter and grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she loved them more than words can express. She never missed an opportunity to tell her family how much she loved them.
Carmen was predeceased by her parents, Ramon and Angelina Guadalupe; her sister, Aleja Rivera Gonzalez; and her brothers, Hector, Carlos, Alfredo, and Angel Guadalupe, granddaughter Amaya Guadalupe.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Latoya Guadalupe of Somerset, New Jersey; her son, Raymond Arce of Perth Amboy, New Jersey; three grandsons, Amir, Zaire, and Ra’John Foley of Somerset, New Jersey and five granddaughters Mia and Aaliyah Stafford of Somerset, New Jersey Layla of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Arya and Amaya Arce from Perth Amboy, New Jersey two brothers Juan Perdomo of South Brunswick , New Jersey and Julio Guadalupe of Tampa, Florida and four sisters, Maria Martinez of New Brunswick, New Jersey, Daisy Diaz of Carteret, New Jersey, Zenaida Campbell at South Brunswick, New Jersey and Miriam Guadalupe of North Brunswick, New Jersey along with a
