Irene Stasiuk Asack

Irene Stasiuk Asack, 83, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home on December 12, 2025, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Irene was born in Poland to Gregory Stasiuk and Natalie Stasiuk (née Bilyk), who had immigrated from Ukraine to Poland. As a young child, she immigrated to the United States with her parents and her sister, Lydia Little (née Stasiuk).

Irene was raised in New Jersey by her devoted parents. She went on to graduate from Texas Woman’s University and dedicated her professional life to public service, building a long and meaningful career with the State of New Jersey Judiciary in New Brunswick. Known for her strong work ethic, Irene also held part-time positions at Williams Sonoma, alongside her full-time career with the NJ Courts. Remarkably, she continued working part time into her 83rd year.

In 2012, Irene began a courageous journey battling cancer, which she faced with grace, courage, patience, fortitude, and deep gratitude for life. She fought bravely for thirteen years, never allowing illness to define her spirit.

Irene was warm-hearted, charismatic, caring, generous, and delightfully funny. She had a profound love for animals, especially dogs and cats. Over the years, she rescued many, providing them with exceptional care, comfort, and unconditional love.

Irene is survived by her beloved sister, Susan Stasiuk Fariello, as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lydia Little.

Irene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We wish her eternal peace and rest.

Funeral services will be held 12:00PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick, NJ.
