Isabel M Nunez

Our beloved Isabel Nuñez peacefully passed away on January 5, 2024. Isabel was fighting a long battle with diabetes along with dementia. She was from the Dominican Republic & would always travel to the United States, where she to be reunited with all her grandchildren. 

Isabel will always be remembered for her beautiful big heart that touched so many souls. She had a passion for cooking, known to be one of her love languages. Till this day & many more to come people will still smell her seasoning. Isabel would force you to eat even when you’re already stuffed & ask if you want coffee with crackers or her famous Avena. 

Isabel loved her husband Antonio, who peacefully passed on February 4, 2023. Her four children were her prized possessions & she would go to war for her nine grandchildren as well as her two great grandchildren & 14 siblings. 

Isabel was like the root of our family tree, held us up strong and kept us all together.

Nuestra querida Isabel Núñez falleció el 5 de enero de 2024. Isabel estaba luchando contra una larga batalla  de diabetes y la demencia. Era de la República Dominicana y siempre viajaba a los Estados Unidos, donde se reunía con todos sus nietos.
Isabel siempre será recordada por su hermoso gran corazón que tocó tantas almas. Ella tenía una pasión para la cocina, conocida por ser uno de sus lenguajes de amor. Hasta el día de hoy y adelante, la gente seguirá oliendo su condimento. Isabel te obligaba a comer incluso cuando ya estabas lleno y te preguntaba si querías café con galletas o su famosa Avena.
Isabel amaba a su esposo Antonio, quien falleció  el 4 de febrero de 2023. Sus cuatro hijos eran sus posesiones más preciadas y ella iría a la guerra por sus nueve nietos, así como por sus dos bisnietos y 14 hermanos.
Isabel era como las raíces de nuestro árbol genealógico, nos mantenía firmes y todos unidos.
