Jacquelin Richman

Mrs. Jacquelin (Sobel) Richman, 83 of Margate, NJ passed away Thurs. at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. she resided in Edison, NJ for 38 years before retiring to Tamarac, FL in 1988. Mrs. Richman has been living in Margate, NJ for several years. "Jackie", as she was known by her friends, once sang on the radio as a child star on the Horn & Hardarts Children's Hour in Philadelphia. Throughout her life Mrs. Richman maintained her love of music, singing, and dance. For many years she was very active in Community theatre and musicals. She was a graduate of Olney high school, Philadelphia. Daughter of the late Sam & Anna Sobel, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Stanley in 2006. Surviving are her daughters and their spouses: Gail and Joe Schlafer, Carol Richman, and Denis Zadorecki; her brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Sandy Sobel; and her two grandchildren: Scott and Andrea Schlafer.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1pm, Sun. Jan 13, 2013 a the Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ.
