Linda L. Seip-Jaksa, 61, passed away after a long illness at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ on Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born in Jersey City, NJ to Janet Van Der Meer, whom she recently found and was immediately adopted by Harold and Lucille (Armstrong) Seip. Linda had lived in Neptune for 20 years and recently moved in the last year to Manchester, NJ.
Linda earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. He last employment was with Mentor, Inc.
Her love was her children and grandchildren. Linda enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and travel. Linda was a member of the Motor Maids International Motorcycle Club and was deeply involved in motorcycling. Along with her husband Martin, Linda loved going to car shows especially when they would show their 1993 Corvette. Linda, along with her husband were members of "Under My Skin for Life" a charitable organization.
Predeceased by her adoptive parents Harold and Lucille, her birth mother Janet Van Der Meer, she is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years Martin E. Jaksa, her loving daughters Alexandra Schultheiss and Michelle Baugh, her cherished grandchildren Amara Tyler, Genisis Bigelow, Jahmeera McGhee and Giovanna McGhee, her recently found sisters Lauren Charles and Tracey Fichthorn and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be held on Saturday, December 1, 20128 from 7:30 - 11:15 am at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Funeral service will begin at 11:15 am followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to your local Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
