Mrs. Maria Dolores Piscoya

March 23, 1934 — October 11, 2021

Maria Dolores Piscoya, 87, passed away on Monday, October 11,2021 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Cajamarca, Peru, came to Middlesex, NJ in September of 1996 where she lived with her son, Cesar. For the past three years Maria Dolores has been living with her daughter in Mendham, NJ.

Maria Dolores was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved to cook. She also enjoyed Crocheting, watching television and sewing. Also, amongst her many hobbies, were her plants, especially roses and gardening. Her family was particularly proud of her "lattice candy cakes". She made one as recently as this past July for her grandson's Communion.

Predeceased by her parents Aloy Rojas and Concepcion Arribasplata, her husband, Amador Piscoya and all of her siblings, she is survived by her sons Ronald, William, Cesar, Richard, Edwin and Jorge , her daughters Maria Elena and Betty, her twenty-seven grandchildren and nine grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm. Prayer Service will begin at #:30 pm. Cremation and burial in Peru will be at the convenience of the family.
