Meryl Ingram of Scotch Plains, NJ passed away from cancer on Wednesday, October 27, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in New York City on June 4, 1955 to Adeline and Norman Kranzburg. Meryl married Richard on September 2, 1979 after they met at Stony Brook University. She earned her Law Degree from Fordham University, and for many years was a practicing attorney and published legal writer. Meryl’s family was the focus and passion of her life, and she took great joy in her children’s accomplishments and in becoming a grandmother last year. She is survived by her husband Richard, their children Alaina, Daniel, and Julia, daughter-in-law Amanda, grandson Owen, son-in-law Jason, mother-in-law Honey, and sister Dori. Meryl never let her illness define her or prevent her from living life to the fullest. She will be very dearly missed by all who knew her. Tributes can be made through donations to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center or Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
Funeral Service will be held at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ at 11:30 am on Friday, October 29, 2021. Interment to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
