Ramon Luciano

Our beloved father, Ramon Luciano, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born on November 12, 1941, in Puerto Rico.

As a young boy, Ramon worked the farm with his father. At age 15, Ramon arrived in New Jersey and made Paterson, NJ his home. Shortly thereafter, Ramon found a job working in a butcher shop. There he met his lovely future wife, Myrna Vargas. Several years later they married and settled in New Brunswick, NJ, where they resided for the remainder of their lives. Ramon worked for the City of New Brunswick in the maintenance department until retirement.

Ramon lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like, going to church, playing the guitar and singing with his band mates Gilberto, Luna and Chelo. He also loved planting flowers in his backyard garden and family time. His kindness, generosity, and compassion touched many lives. His memory will live in our hearts forever.

Ramon is survived by his children, sister, brother, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 04:00 PM. to 07:00 PM and Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, with burial immediately following at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
