Sara Maskin passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on September 22, 2023. She was born and raised in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Middlesex County, returning back to New Brunswick in her final year. She was the oldest child of Morris and Hortense Spritzer. Sara was married for more than 50 years to her beloved husband, Leonard Maskin (deceased). She is survived by four sons, Harry Maskin (Yvonne) of Metuchen NJ, Michael Maskin (Karen) of Burlington NJ, Jonathan Maskin (Nicholas) of Fort Washington MD, and Gary Maskin (Monica Mayhill) of Seattle WA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Martin (Gwendolyn), Renee and Olivia and two beloved great-grandchildren, Elle and Ezra; her sister Maggi Salfi (Robert) and her brother-in-law David Grobstein. She is predeceased by her brother Henry Spritzer, sister Dolly Spritzer and sister-in-law Rita Spritzer. Sara was a graduate of Douglass College. She was a lifetime member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Anshe Emeth Community Development Corporation
